A Faith-Based Home for Hope, Healing, and New Beginnings
Matthew House is a faith-based transitional home in Fergus Falls for men rebuilding their lives after substance use, incarceration, treatment, or other difficult seasons.
We provide a safe, sober, and stable place to live, along with mentorship, accountability, encouragement, and support. At Matthew House, men are given the opportunity to leave the past behind, grow in faith, and take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more hopeful future.
Matthew House is a transitional home for men.
Not a Center, but a Home
For many of the men that come here, Matthew House is just one of the steps in their journey towards sober living through Christ. Whether they’ve been in and out of jail, prison, or treatment centers, men take comfort here because we are not a bootcamp, clinic, hospital, or center—we are a place to call home.
Matthew House provides mentors, support and encouragement.
Community in Christ
Through our ministry, we provide mentors to work with those living here. Together, they join and help with Bible studies, meals, and give transportation to and from appointments and other activities. Our community of men and women through the ministry foster healthy relationships, accountability, and encouragement that stays with men long after they leave Matthew House for the next step in their journey.
