A Little Bit About Us

A House of Hope and New Beginnings

Matthew House is a safe space for men to begin healing from the pain and trauma associated with addiction and other difficult circumstances such as jail, prison, and treatment centers. By providing a secure home for those who need it, we are able to give support, encouragement, and structure to those looking for something more in their lives. Our goal is to help these men build lifelong success with healthy relationships, accountability, and faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

When David defeated the giant Goliath, all he had were five smooth stones and a slingshot. At Matthew House, we arm the men who come here with five smooth stones of their own:

  • Jesus Christ

  • Family

  • Work

  • Neighbors

  • The Cross

With Bible study and our faith, we help the men of Matthew House see that they are never alone—especially with God by their side.
